THE ANALYSTS BEHIND THE VAULT

"If we can't put a name on it, we don't publish it."

Priya leads the 11-person macro and FX desk from our New York office. She holds the CFA charter, sat on the buy-side at Lazard Asset Management for nine years covering sovereign and credit, and built the original yield-curve screen now used by nine university endowment programs under licensing agreements. She co-founded Trading & Investing in March 2014 after a stint leading the Bloomberg terminal product team — which is why every tear-sheet in the vault is keyboard-tested against a real workflow, not a hypothetical one.

Her coverage universe this quarter: US Treasury term structure, G10 FX, sovereign credit, and the cross-asset screens that sit behind the weekly NFP and ISM reaction models. She publishes under her own name, answers reader email at [email protected], and ships every chart in the vault with the underlying CSV attached — no paywall, no email gate, no pseudonym.

Publishing this week: a fresh FX-carry screener (Wednesday), an updated gold-vs-real-rates tear-sheet (Thursday), and the Q1 model-portfolio rebalance note (Friday, 14:00 ET).

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Who can use it, how fresh is it, can I share it?

The questions financial advisors and compliance-minded traders raise before downloading third-party research — answered plainly, in plain English.

How often is the vault updated, and what's stale?
Equity tear-sheets are refreshed on a rolling 90-day cycle — anything older is moved to a clearly labelled "Historical" folder so you never confuse a 2018 view with a 2025 view. Macro screens update every Friday 14:00 ET. Crypto on-chain reports update Mondays. Options models roll forward at each monthly expiration.
Can I redistribute the research — to clients, colleagues, or on a blog?
Personal use and redistribution to your own clients within a single advisory firm is allowed with attribution to Trading & Investing and the named analyst. Republishing in bulk on a public website, paid newsletter, or competing research product is not — see the full vault licensing terms. We're a small team; please don't resell our work.
Is this general market commentary or personalized financial planning?
General market commentary. We do not know your portfolio, your tax bracket, your time horizon, or your risk tolerance, and we will never claim to. Nothing in the vault is a personalized recommendation under any SEC, FCA, or MAS rule. If you need a personalized plan, hire a fiduciary adviser licensed in your jurisdiction.
Where does the underlying data come from? Are you paid by any broker or exchange?
Market data comes from licensed feeds (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE) under our own subscriptions; on-chain data comes from Glassnode and node-operator partnerships with disclosed written licenses; macro data is public (FRED, BIS, IMF). Trading & Investing is independently owned by Velez Anand Media LLC. We accept no payment for coverage of any security — see our research independence statement.
