METHODOLOGY · HOW AN ALERT BECOMES A PUBLIC RECORD

Five steps. Under four minutes. Witnessed by an auditor.

"96.4% complete within 4 minutes" is not a marketing line. It is the share of alerts since 2019 in which all four data points — entry, target, stop, and time-stamped exit — were logged in the public ledger within four minutes of the desk's actual action. Here is the workflow that produces that number.

  1. 1. Signal generation

An analyst's desk model, technical level, or proprietary quant screen (T-I Volatility Score, applied to 7,200+ tickers daily) flags a candidate. Names and timestamps are recorded internally before any notification is drafted.

  2. 2. Pre-trade stamp

The four canonical data points — ticker, side, entry, target, stop — are written into our alert console with a UTC millisecond stamp. The console will not publish without all four present.

  3. 3. Publication

The alert is pushed to premium members (mobile, desktop, Discord) and simultaneously mirrored to a public hashed JSON record on this page's audit feed. Members and the public see the same data at the same second.

  4. 4. Exit logging

When the position is closed — at target, at stop, at end-of-session, or on revision — the desk publishes a second alert with a new exit timestamp. Both timestamps survive in the public ledger.

  5. 5. Annual audit

Mainstreet Trading Audits, LLC reconciles the public record against broker confirmations and the desk's order blotter. The most recent audit covers Jan 1 – Dec 31, 2024 and is available on request.

"If we can't write down the exit within four minutes, we don't publish the entry. That's the rule."

— Marco Velez, Editor-in-Chief & co-founder

Premium members receive alerts on push, plus an SMS escalation for stop-runs and earnings opens. The public ledger on this page is updated every five minutes during U.S. market hours and every fifteen minutes otherwise.
